Joe speaks with Alison about training for the purpose of durability and staying well across different modalities of training (including running, crossfit, and yoga).

About Alison:

Alison Heilig (pronounced HI-lig) is a yoga teacher, corrective exercise specialist, RRCA Level 2 Certified Running Coach, and a CrossFit coach.

She serves as a subject matter expert and educator for movement teachers in the fields of anatomy, biomechanics, myofascial release, injury rehabilitation and prevention.

When she’s not teaching and coaching, she’s doing — Alison is an accomplished ultra marathoner and competitive CrossFit athlete.

She is also a writer and her first book, The Durable Runner, is expected to be published next year.
