CARS Stands for controlled articular rotations and it is derived from The Functional Range Systems. CARS are active, rotational movements at the outer limits of articulation motion. They can be done every day within your safest, pain free range of motion. CARS are used for ROM maintenance, articulate health and longevity, articulate screening, and rehabilitation. If done on a regular basis CARS provide signaling for tissue remodeling to allow for maximal tissue elongation and range of motion maintenance. They help prevent maturation of fibrotic tissue and help delay and prevent the onset of osteoarthritis.
