Sage Rountree (sagerountree.com), PhD, E-RYT 500, is an internationally recognized authority in yoga for athletes. Author of several books including The Athlete’s Guide to Yoga, Racing Wisely, Everyday Yoga, and Lifelong Yoga, she contributes to Runner’s World and Yoga Journal.
Sage’s classes, training plans, videos, books, and articles make yoga, core strength, and endurance exercise accessible to everyone. Her goal is to help people find the right balance between work and rest for peak performance in sports and in life. Sage teaches workshops internationally and online at Core Strength for Real People, YogaVibes, and Sage Yoga Teacher Training. She lives in central North Carolina, where she co-owns the Carolina Yoga Company, Hillsborough Spa and Day Retreat, and Carolina Massage Institute.
